This little critter in a china cup is getting quite excited...she has a new home. Earlier today I did the giveaway raffle... First I wrote down all the names on little triangles of pretty paper...
Folded them all up in to smaller triangles and put them in a little matching bowl...
The winner is...Julia from Vintage heaven
So Julia send me your home address and I will get Little Pinkie to you and the fat quarter...ENJOY and treat her well she likes company but she is a little shy!!! Thank you everyone else for joining me in the fun. The children kept picking names out so in their eyes I guess your all winners. Well on to the craft front: I am getting a few bits and pieces done...the tweed corsages are nearly finished...three are already off to new homes, so I guess I can not have done too bad a job on them...I played around with lots of buttons for the centre of the corsages, I settled on a matching handmade button, so whilst all the buttons lay all over the table and the button foot was on the sewing machine...
I thought I would do a little embellishing on my tank top...I have a few of these tank tops, I wear them under a crisp white man style shirt with jeans or a long skirt. So I thought I would add a bit of interest. I pinched the idea straight off the high street...I was in a shop earlier in the day and saw some on a sweater. I like mine better as I like all the different buttons and each button has a little bit of history and you know, you just can not buy that! If you look a little closer you will see I even sewed one of my labels in just for a bit of fun...
So I am slowly getting my Autumn groove going and the colours in my wardrobe are starting to reflect it...
Have a great weekend and I will catch up with you next week..Oh a nice pot of tea...Maybe I will get my Autumnal china set out...

I think your giveaway was a great idea and a lot of fun, and I love the different papers you used for the draw, you really made it into an event and I can imagine the fun your children had keep pulling out different names even after the winner had been picked! I noticed my other identity of This Is My Patch sitting on the top. I really must try and do something with buttons, I am useless at sewing but I can sew a button on!
Congratulations to Julia! Have a wonderful weekend!
Fun giveaway, and look at all those wonderful little pieces of paper you wrote out!!! Oh, I am so glad you are doing fun embellishments on tanks... I should do the same... Get your autumnal tea set out, we must hae a tea party!! xxo
I cannot believe that you have seasonal crockery - well actually I can !!! have a great weekend xx
Ha ha, we must be on-line at the same time .... I was just marvelling at all those tiny triangles you went to the trouble of making!
Hope you have a great weekend too x
Thanks for including us in your draw. And love your idea of sewing buttons on to customise your clothes...easy to do and really effective!

YAY! Have a safe trip, Pinkie!
I love how you embellished the top with buttons! That's a great idea and I've seen similar tops in a few shops here too.
Oh lucky Julia! I wish little Pinky had come here though!
Your top looks great, I think I'll borrow the idea too and jazz up some jumpers!
Hope you're getting into the rhythm of your new life now.
Congrats to Julia! Love the tank top idea and those buttons look so good with that colour! Have a good weekend

Anyway, I've emailed you direct, no answer, you NEED to go to www.wildcraftfarm.typepad.com to see who one of the winners was in my Mothers Quilt Card Collection giveaway ... see if you recognise any names??????? Love the top with the buttons, Janet x
