I have mentioned my book buying addiction on more than one occasion. I have worked really hard this year to slow down on this, I have to say I have done very well with only one week of book buying this year, that was until the last two weeks... You see I have a little pad by the side of my computer and when I read someones blog post with a book review, if I like the look of the book I write down the details on the pad under the title that says 'Books to buy'. So this little pile are the last two weeks purchases. Most of them came from Amazon and a couple came from a craft fair that I visited at the weekend. SO I am overloaded with inspiration, my head is buzzing with ideas, on almost every page of all these books are stuff I want to make. As you know I have a passion for linen and these little purses are a delight, I probably will not make a purse, however the inspiration in the mix of linen and cotton are just wonderful...
I am also always knitting small projects along side my big knitted projects (usually corsages) and this colour combination is just hitting the spot and has me rummaging through my BIG bag of odd balls of yarn (mostly filled with the last/odd balls from bigger projects and a great mix of colours and textures)
As for these little coasters, what a smiley way to start the morning, I could just imagine my babes faces when I pop their morning breakfast on these little guys!
Whist I am not going with this colour scheme I am so loving this cow, I have a huge collection of cows (I shared some of this with you in the Month of Moo March 2007). So this is a must on the To do list... Ahh yes I am a list maker...

What a brilliant collection of books, can I nip round for a read!?
I've just got the Sew Pretty one and it has some wonderful projects and such pretty pictures.
What a great little pile -- I think I need to be jotting down a few of those myself! I love those little coin purses -- I've been thinking about making a few of those myself!
Love! I, too, buy books like mad, but usually only at thrift stores, so as not to break the bank. And they're usually children's books. I always say that my imaginary children are extremely well read!
I am a book nut too..these look brill!!;-)
what a great collection! I have to keep myself away from amazon, it's a dangerous place!
Oooh, I just want to pop round to the Suzie Sews craft book library!! Particularly interested in Pretty Knits and the Knit Handbook , but am also very interested in what the one about ideas for your blog is all about - very intriguing title! Show us some more piccies please!

Oh those look great!! I'd love to know what you think of Pretty Little patchwork, it is on my amazon wish list. I have sew pretty and want to move into the pages of the book!! Were did the adorable pot holders come out of I may need to have that book too.
So, any books you haven't got?? Love the purses and the coasters are too cute for words. I get so much inspiration from books but having the time to do any of the things in them is another matter!
Have a lovely weekend!

I am rather a book addict too (non-fiction). I buy them in the hope of one day being able to sit down and read them from cover to cover, and to really appreciate all the lovely photos? I like those Humpty Dumpties, I remember as a kid always being very envious of my friends, just like the one off Playschool. x
What a fab pile of inspiration, I really fancy the Sew Pretty one

Just love your books, and the little purses are certainly adorable. There is almost nothing like the instant gratification of knitting small projects! I find myself doing that quite often, and your flowers are so so pretty!
Smiles...

You should start a library! Let me know which the best ones are.

I'm totally addicted to craft books too - I think I spot some yummy titles for my wish list in your photo too! Hurrah for books!
Which book did the little linen purses come from? I recently bought some purse frames and am wanting to have a go at making some.
Lucky you with that lovely book stash! You won't be lacking for inspiration with all those fabulous books on hand.
